Supplier Onboarding Process: Direct Connect

The following guide details the steps required to onboard suppliers to be used with a direct contract between you and your supplier using the Livn Direct Connect model.

Initiation

You need to contact the reservation systems your suppliers are connected to. Please use the contact list and guide below as you will need to supply Livn with details of your reservation system/supplier accounts.

Reservation System Contact List / Guide

You need to send an email to each of your suppliers explaining that you would like to create a connection with them via Livn and include a link to an online form supplied by Livn.

The supplier completes the online form which gives authority to connect and for Livn to contact the supplier on your behalf.

When the online form is submitted you and Livn will receive a copy via email.

Procurement

Livn will store a copy of this form and add the supplier to an Onboarding Trello Board to manage the connection process. Note: Although not always possible, if you would like to discuss access to a dedicated Trello Board to track the progress of your supplier onboarding please contact Livn.

Connection / Connected

Livn will contact the supplier and/or reservation system to initiate the connection and/or mapping process and move the supplier through the connection process. If Livn runs

into any connection issues that require your assistance we will let you know.

Curate

If your integration includes product curation as part of the Livn service, we may need to curate new products from suppliers we have not worked with before. Product curation includes adding additional content including machine readable elements, structured descriptive text, geolocations and images. Essentially, it allows products from different reservation systems and suppliers to presented in an attractive and consistent way on on your customer facing channel.

QC

All curated products go through a comprehensive quality control process to ensure the content imported from the reservation system and subsequently added by Livn accurately reflects the product for sale and any conditions or restrictions.

Release

Once all of the above steps are complete, Livn will make suppliers and products available to your distributor.

The products are now ready to be booked although there may be a slight delay in activating products while we wait for the latest pricing and availability to be automatically loaded by the Livn system cache.

Livn can provide reports on new suppliers and products added to your distributor although the best approach is to use the technical solutions for messaging and notifications available to you. This is normally discussed during the Livn API integration, however, if you are unsure how this works please contact Livn.
