Severity Level

Description

Level 1 (Urgent)

Complete or severe malfunction of the Livn Platform or loss of critical functionality. The impact of a “Severity Level 1 Defect” on the business is severe and immediate; there are no workarounds to minimize business impact.

·       Critical functionality is unavailable

·       Software will not operate

·       Software crashes repeatedly

·       Software site is down

·       Loss or corruption of all or part of subscriber data

Level 2 (High)

A “Severity Level 2 Defect” causes a loss of the use of the Software or loss of critical functionality for which there is a workaround.  Operation can continue in a restricted fashion or users experience degradation of system functionality.  A Severity Level 2 Defect has one or more of the following characteristics:

·       Mainstream functionality is unavailable for limited number of users

·       Workaround is available, but service is degraded

·       Loss of redundancy

Level 3 (Normal)

A “Severity Level 3 Defect” causes minimal interruption of the Software or site functionality and has a minor impact or is inconvenient. A Severity Level 3 Defect as one or more of the following characteristics:

·       There is an acceptable workaround

·       Performance is minimally degraded

·       Non-critical impact

Level 4 (Low)

A “Severity Level 4 Defect” causes no loss of the Software or site functionality. It may be a cosmetic problem, a documentation error or minor incorrect behaviour that does not prevent operation of the Software or access to the site.
